This is what happens when keeping it real goes wrong. I’m not saying that Tony Stewart can’t throw his Kaepernick take on top of the pile of Kaepernick takes currently smoldering across social media. But the fact of the matter is if you kill someone with your car, it will get brought up, likely sooner than later. Same goes for the Cincinnati Zoo getting bukakke’d with Harambe replies to every tweet.
Back in the day, people would use shit like that as a trump card for an argument. But now in 2016, their opening statement is the worst thing you’ve done. People are basically bringing in Mariano Rivera to pitch the first inning just so you don’t want to play innings 2-9. Or George Costanza deciding to lead off with the “I slept with your wife” insult instead of “The Jerk Store“. I’m not saying it’s right or fair. But that’s just the way the game is these days. Game the same, just got more fierce. And based on the reaction the “You killed a guy” tweet has gotten, Tony Stewart may not want to check his mentions for the next decade or three.
